Kip Ellington (’88) is Regional Loan Manager for River Valley Ag Credit Association, covering the Purchase Area of West Kentucky. He and his wife Jennifer like in Lone Oak with their three children, Rook (16), Abbie (14), & Carew (12).
Dan Sheppard (’94) is television producer/director at West KY Community & Technical College. He, and his wife, Niki, have four children, Hunter, Jonathan, Cassidy, and Jayci.
Amy (Scoggins) Carrico ('01) is a guidance counselor at Central Elementary. She was the first GC grad to be head coach for the Lady Eagles basketball team, from 2009-2014. Her husband Justin is the Minister of Equipping & Administration at Trace Creek Baptist Church. They have a daughter, Bailey (3), and a son, Carter, who was born in October, 2014.
Sam Brown (’02) is an entrepreneur and his wife Brittany (Beale) (’03) is a pharmacist. They co-own and help operate Gibson’s Pharmacy in Mayfield and Medical Arts Pharmacy in Murray. Sam also owns Wildforest Whitetails and Outdoor Motorsports. Brittany operates the Jonah Brown Gift Collection, named after their son.
Josh Frick ('04) became the first GCHS alumni to become boys head basketball coach on June 27, 2014. He is married to Kimberly (Knight) ('03), who is a physical therapist at Heritage Manor Nursing Home; and, they have two children, Cooper (4), and Kynlee (almost 1).
Barrett Wilson (’06) is marketing & communications director for Face Pace Urgent Care in Nashville, TN. He is married to Whitney Shultz (’05), who is an associate dentist at Kemp Dental in Brentwood, TN, and a clinical dentist for a non-profit organization called Hope Smiles.
Josh Keeling (’06) is the owner and operator of KY Cheerleading Center in Louisville, KY.
Matt Gream (’07) was recently hired by the City of Mayfield as an EMT/Firefighter. His wife, Tiffany (Farmer) (’06), is an LPN working at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
Matt Kimbler (’07) is a math teacher at GCHS and middle school boys & high school assistant basketball coach. His wife, Amanda (Clapp) (’07) is a family nurse practitioner (APRN) for West Ky Family Healthcare. They have one daughter, Mylie (2).
Teddy Mays (2008) graduated from the University of Louisville in 2012 and is currently employed as a financial aid counselor for West KY Community & Technical College in Paducah.
Jim Bob Melton (’08) is an accountant with Winterwood, Inc. out of Lexington, KY. His wife, Ericia (Riley) (’07), is a pharmacist at Duncan’s Pharmacy in Mayfield. The couple resides in Mayfield.
Stephen Henson (’09) graduated from the UK College of Engineering and is a mechanical engineer for Eastman Chemical in Johnson City, TN. He is engaged to be married on June 20, 2015.
Adam Jones ('09) graduated from the KY State Police Academy in December, 2014, and has been assigned as a trooper to Post 1 in Hickory. His wife, Kayla (Hopkins) ('09), is a math teacher and asst. girls basketball coach at GCHS. They have one daughter, Emma, who was born in September, 2014
Dillon Pirtle (’09) graduated from Murray State and is agricultural systems technician, programming all guidance and computer systems, for Pirtle Farms, Inc.
Adam Carrico (’10) graduated from UK with a degree in economics. He is currently working on a Masters of Public Administration, focused on non-profit management and international development, at Syracuse University in New York.
Collin Fitzgerald (’10) graduates in May from the University of KY. He is employed as a mechanical integrity engineer at Ashland in Calvert City, KY.
Cody Payne (’10) and Corey Payne (’10) are owners and operators of Payne Brothers Farms in Mayfield. Cody graduated from the UK College of Engineering with a mechanical engineering degree, and Corey graduated from Murray State with an accounting degree.
